WHAT IS A COLOR RUN?
The International Color Run is an untimed 5K with four color stations along the route where volunteers will toss colored powder at participants.
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION? CAN I GET A REFUND?
You’ll get a white International Color Run t-shirt (smallest size available is Kids Medium) and a bag of color to toss at the end. All proceeds are going to missions and International Color Run expenses so if you can’t make it, consider it a donation to a great cause!
HOW DOES THE INTERNATIONAL COLOR RUN END?
At the finish line you’ll be given a bag of color to toss in the air for the final color party. At 10 am Wilmore City’s More Tales event will begin. There will be music, story telling, food trucks, and other vendors.
WHERE DO I PARK? WHERE IS THE START AND FINISH LINE?
If you’re looking for parking, the UMC parking lot will be available. Wherever you park, walk to Rice Street in Wilmore (parallel to the railroad tracks, close to the caboose) where the starting/finishing line is.
WHAT IS THE COLOR MADE OF AND WILL IT STAIN?
The color powder is made from a blend of food grade cornstarch, FD&C dyes (food, drug, and cosmetic dyes), and baking soda. It is gluten-free but not designed to be eaten or inhaled.
It will mostly wash out. It is recommended to shake off powder as much as possible from clothing and hair before washing. Consider bringing a change of clothes and a towel for the car ride home.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear clothes you don't mind getting colorful. Wear white (like your International Color Run t-shirt) to show off your colors. We’ll be aiming below the shoulders but consider wearing sunglasses and a bandana to help protect your face from powder.
DO I HAVE TO RUN?
You are welcome to run, walk, or skip your way through! Even if you don’t want to participate, all are welcome to the post-run party and More Tales festival!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
We welcome the whole family! Kids who are up for being pelted with color are welcome and encouraged! That said, children in strollers or pets probably won’t enjoy it.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
We will still run! If there is severe weather, keep an eye out here for updates.
how Can i donate?
